SMART PDU

All EVDrive battery packs include a basic Power Distribution Unit (PDU) which controls one circuit with fuses, contactors, and pre-charge.  The Smart PDU can control four circuits over CAN bus, greatly reducing the resource requirements for the vehicle control unit (VCU). This is particularly important with multiple motor systems. Smart PDU can be integrated into the battery pack and is also available as a stand-alone unit.
