EVD BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS)

The BMS monitors the battery, estimating and balancing its state of charge and communicating with the controller to continually optimize its performance. This is particularly important with lithium ion cells which must operate within a tight safe operating area (SOA) in order to protect them from degradation or damage. The BMS also provides temperature monitoring to help prevent thermal runaway. Our state-of-the-art EV Drive proprietary BMS is included in our Standard Battery Modules and Battery Packs, and can be purchased separately for use with other batteries.
