About EVDRIVE

EVDrive began when Bob Simpson, a senior electrical engineer for Tektronix in Portland, Oregon, saw the development of Tesla’s electric vehicles as an engineering challenge to create a high-performance electric car. His first project was his own BMW daily driver, and the documentation generated much interest that expanded the scope of his vision. With a developing team, EVDrive became a viable business creating electric mining vehicles, UTV’s, boats, motorcycles, and ultimately electric super cars, including a world speed record Corvette conversion and a highly competitive Pike’s Peak racer. With a decade of experience creating electric vehicles that meet the highest standards of performance and durability, EVDrive is focused on building the components to empower the innovations in transportation that will take us from ICE to all-electric. EVDrive provides drive system engineering services as well as electric drive components for high-performance vehicle drive systems.
