Battery Pack

A battery pack should be much more than just a box to hold the modules. Our engineering consultants can work with you to determine the size and configuration of modules to give you the total kWh, voltage, and dimensions that you need for your application. Our battery packs come equipped with an imbedded EVD advanced Battery Management System (BMS) to monitor and protect your battery and to greatly simplify wiring. The EVD Smart PDU (Power Distribution Unit) is included in all our standard packs, or as a stand-alone unit. It handles all the functions of the battery pack and power distribution through a simple CAN bus, greatly simplifying the interface between the battery and the rest of the vehicle. Our advanced heat management system is set up with simple AN connections when liquid cooling is desired. Finishes include machined, bead, powder coating, or anodized. Our EVD Standard Battery Packs range from 10 to 80 kilowatt hours. • EVD 10 kWh pack is ideal for applications requiring high voltage with the lightest possible battery weight (68 kg.) for lightweight applications needing maximum acceleration and power over a short distance. Available in configurations up to 400 Volts.
